Gala film for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution.

The story of the revolution told in dance and love. The gala film was made with the participation of 200 dancers and was filmed in the original locations of the revolution. The leading man of the story is Miklós, a 70 year old man from Budapest who played a part in the October 1956 events. It is October 2006 and he looks back at the past – his young self is shown in scenes of the revolution. The two characters of the two dimensions are present sometimes in parallel sometimes simultaneously in the story and guide the audience through some of the most memorable events of those few days. The other character is played by Iván Kamarás who enjoyed the film making process a lot, as being in the period sets felt like really being part of the events of 1956.
